Mesivta Netzach
Hatorah

Our Mission

Mesivta Netzach Hatorah is a unique Makom Torah dedicated to developing impressionable boys into impressive young men. There’s potential and passion in each Talmid. And we build upon it. But most of all, we build upon our connection. To Hashem. To the Torah. To Rebbeim. To his friends – and to himself. A connection that, true to our name, lasts forever.

We accomplish this with constructive and sophisticated Torah learning that builds solid skills, as well as a strong drive to master broader and deeper Yedios HaTorah. While this is complemented by a rigorous and demanding General Studies curriculum, the entire school day remains infused with a ta’am that is friendly and encouraging. This picture is completed by an atmosphere of empowerment, friendship, trust, and warmth from the Rebbeim and staff. Our unique blend produces young men who enthusiastically enjoy their Mesivta years, and who graduate with a drive for knowledge along with the skills for success.

LEMUDEI KODESH

Our Rebbeim are well known for their enthusiasm and their warmth, true Mechanchim, who form close and sincere bonds with every Talmid. With a clear goal of teaching how to learn, our Talmidim are taught to focus on shakla v’tarya, and being able to make a leining themselves. We offer a peer-mentoring program and multiple chaburahs, providing our Talmidim with numerous opportunities to learn from all those around them.

General Studies

We offer a broad range of General Studies courses, leading to our students receiving an NYS Advanced Regents Diploma. In addition to the multiple core courses given in Math, Science, History, and ELA, our schedule is designed to include various elective courses. At the more advanced level, we teach Forensic Science and Advanced Biology, where our students can earn college credits with the State University of New York.

ATHLETICS

During breaks, our Talmidim can be found on our basketball courts and football field. At the inter-school level, our participation in the local Mesivta League has become a highlight for our Talmidim. Our Netzach Knights contend at both the JV and Varsity levels in basketball, football, softball, and hockey.

NIGHT SEDER

Night Seder at Mesivta Netzach HaTorah is our crown jewel. It is the most precious time of the day after an intense and rigorous curriculum of both Limudei Kodesh and Limudei Chol. It’s where our Talmidim regroup, as they invest quality time learning with their Rebbeim and other Talmidim from all grades in our thriving Bais Medrash.

BEYOND THE CLASSROOM

Creating healthy outlets for today’s Ben Torah is a must. With trips, visits to Rabbonim and Roshei Yeshiva – both local and in other communities – incentive programs, Shabbatons, chesed opportunities, and a vibrant athletics program, we inspire our Talmidim both in and out of the classroom. This not only keeps our Talmidim engaged, but provides them with activities that help maintain their positive outlook, which is essential for their continued growth.
